A Series of Unexpected Events: Ch 2

The Little Complexities

Character: Ron Ng

In life, there are always ups and downs and of course those moments that are so bland and boring that you tend to forget after a while. I personally try to recall those bland and boring moments and try to find that hint of beauty from it...since I know that it was there...just hidden away. I like to believe that there is beauty in every aspect of life and looking at life through colourful glasses seems to enhance that hidden beauty. My words sometimes sound a bit too flowery, but I can’t help it. My flowery words are what help me put food on the table...as I am a writer after all.

You sometimes notice that writers who write romantic novels are females or sometimes the case may be that the author is a male who has taken the penname as a woman. However, I’m unlike those other writers for the fact that I pride myself in my ability to write novels that touches people’s hearts and I pride myself for being a romantic. If I wasn’t the romantic that I am, I would’ve never captured the heart of my wife in the first place.

My wife used to tell me that the only reason why she married me was not because I was a romantic but because I was an optimist. Though, I still think that the romantic in me captured her even more so than the optimist in me. I have to admit that I miss her and there’s a part of me that wants to turn back the hands of time so that I could still be with her...but what happened, happened...and the optimist in me that my wife so loved told me to move on.

After being married for just seven years she was taken away by a fatal illness and left me in this world alone searching for all its hidden beauties. Sometimes it’s hard to find beauty when all you feel is despair...but again, the optimist in me told me to move on...and of course there was my manager. I still recall after the death of my wife I was uninspired to write, all I wanted to do was let time pass and then stare out into the open sky and wonder why, why am I still here? Months later my manager insisted that I find myself a hobby and find myself some inspiration because my lack thereof was not only affecting me but her as well. And I had to admit she was just as good with words as I am...that Leila Tong...and to think that I was her senior back in our college days.

She’s been with me every step of the way...from my first book until now...sometimes people in the business refer to her as my second wife, but...I still think that’s a bit too farfetched. She’s more of an extremely demanding housekeeper or something along those lines...and to be honest, I’d probably be on the streets without her. According to her she knows what’s best for me...and apparently what’s best for me is what’s best for her. According to her...I should stop spending too much time with my friend’s wife, Tavia...even if there’s nothing between the two of us...

=======================================================

Staring blankly into his laptop screen was the only thing he could do. The document was still blank as he had no spark of inspiration for his next book. He leaned back against his chair and stared aimlessly at his ceiling until he heard his dog barking followed by his ringtone. He got up from his chair and went to the living room where he had left his cell phone. Looking at the caller id he knew it was Tavia.

~ On the phone~

Ron: Hello?

Tavia: Ron, are you busy?

Ron: Nope, I’m experiencing a bit of writer’s block, why?

Tavia: I’m just stuck at home and a bit bored...I don’t want to bother Raymond at work either...so...

Ron chuckled: So you want to use me to kill time, is that right?

Tavia: I guess you can say that...but I’d rather say that I’d like to spend some time with a good friend of mine

Ron: All right, let’s meet at the park near your house...I’ll take my little Chuck along for a walk as well...

Tavia: Sure. I’ll take BiBi out for a walk too...

Ron: Ok, see you in twenty?

Tavia: sounds great

~ end~

This was something they had done on a regular basis. Tavia would be stuck at home with nothing to do, except stare at the four bare walls and take care of her little dog BiBi...and then she’d give him a call. Then the two of them would go and walk their dogs together...eventually the two of them decided to enrol their pups in some sort of obedience classes, making their rendezvous even more frequent.

Then the nagging started...from Leila of course. She always told him how eventually either Tavia or he would start developing feelings for each other...and that just won’t do. She’s married and he can’t be with a married woman...it just won’t do! But Ron would laugh at such a thought because he only regarded Tavia as a friend...well his friend’s wife...and he would never even have the thought of crossing such a boundary...

Twenty minutes later Ron was at the park with little Chuck who’s a Jack Russell Terrier and noticed Tavia already sitting at the bench with her little BiBi, a Bichon Frise.

Ron: You’re early

Tavia turned to look and a bright smile had appeared on her face. She walked her BiBi over to where Ron stood.

Tavia: I do live nearby, you know

Ron: Well, generally a man would be waiting for woman and not the other way around...

Tavia: I guess I’m not your typical woman then

Ron chuckled: Or maybe, you’re a man

Tavia lightly punched his arm

Ron laughed: so un-lady like today...hopefully Raymond doesn’t see this

Tavia’s bright smile seemed to have disappeared with the mention of her husband. Sometimes Ron would feel as though that passion that once lit up Raymond and Tavia’s marriage had slowly disappeared...especially after the loss of their child. But, he was always too afraid to ask...he was too afraid to know about what was going on with their relationship...because being a writer of romantic novels...he knew that if he asks, she would tell him...and then...she would rely on him...and like Leila says ‘that just won’t do!’

Tavia: Raymond’s too busy at work to be caught walking around in the park

Ron: I guess it makes sense considering there was a great economic depression and all...but he should take some time off to spend with you...when was the last time you two went somewhere together?

Tavia shrugged: I don’t remember...I guess it’s been far too long

Ron: birthdays? Anniversaries?

Tavia: He usually buys me a gift and leaves it on the table...with a note, sometimes a phone call...but never a romantic dinner or a nice getaway...

Ron: Oh...well...maybe we should double date

Tavia looked at him: Double date? You have...a girlfriend?

Ron: No...But I could always ask Leila to play the part...she’s good at that

Tavia: oh...maybe you should call Raymond and make plans with him directly...

Ron: Maybe I will...but I don’t think I can until I finish my next book or else Leila might kill me...

Tavia: You could always get a new manager since Leila seems a bit...

Ron: Overwhelming?

Tavia nodded

Ron: But she’s great..and besides if I switch managers for real she WOULD kill me...and you wouldn’t have a friend to walk your dog with...

Tavia smiled: Thanks

Ron: Huh? For what?

Tavia: For being someone I can walk my dog with...a friend

Ron: Hey, when Linda left...you and Raymond were both so supportive of me...and when you lost your child...I just wanted to be there for you guys...but it seems as though Raymond uses his work as a way to get through it...but for you...it’s different

When Ron turned to actually look at Tavia he realized that he had made her tear up a bit. He could see the tears welling up in her eyes, her face reddening and...he couldn’t stand to watch her cry.

He placed a hand on her shoulder and the two of them walked towards a park bench where they took a seat.

Ron: I didn’t mean to bring up...

Tavia: it’s ok...it’s just whenever I think about my baby...she would be eight years old now...I could be over there pushing her on the swings, or watching her go down the slide...but all of that...

Before she could finish her sentence tears had overwhelmed her as she broke down and cried upon Ron’s shoulder.

I hope you enjoyed this update...please leave a comment. I actually really like writing this fanfic for several reasons and I really look forward to reading your input about it. At this point all of my characters have been introduced...and they will each get their own chapter of course for a more indepth view of their character.

Please leave me as many comments as possible...and I'll be back with more updates soon.

Take 2: Ch 19

Killing Time

Sorry for the delay in updating this fanfic...I just don't know what to write anymore for it...maybe it doesnt feel natural anymore or something. I guess that's something I need to figure out...but anways...I'll probably end this fanfic soon. Speed up the process and make the ending as painless as possible...probably no deaths or anything THAT dramatic...I think lol Anyways, enjoy!

Recap:

What happened in the last chapter was that after speaking to Leila, Ron felt horrible and went to the library to get some peace. Sitting there, with tears streaming down his face Linda comes over to comfort him...and eventually it made him feel a little bit better about himself. On the other hand Leila and Bosco had a nice walk home, as Bosco once again did something to make Leila light up.

At the end of the last chapter, Ron had written a poem...with the last verse at the moment being

Is there nothing more to us?
Than fragments of memories
Pieces of shattered hope
Masked with false promises
Moments frozen in time
Where there was
You and I, us...

His pen left his notebook as he stared at his unfinished poem...he didn’t know what to write...and only hoped that this poem could eventually end on a much happier note.
He got up from where he was sitting and decided it was time to head home...
~ Into the fanfic~
Time always seem to pass us by as if nothing had happened, nothing had changed...but it is obvious to us that during that time many unforgettable things occurred and during that time a lot had changed.

~ one month later~

Sitting in his room thinking to himself about everything that had occurred had become a habit for Ron over the past month. Sometimes happy memories would slip through his mind and a faint smile could be seen on his face, but usually it was a look full of sorrow, full of regret. He wanted to move on, he wanted time to be the healer of his emotional wounds...but time just seemed to have left him in misery and in pain.

He had not spoken to Leila during that month, but occasionally saw her from a distance so full of energy and so full of life like she used to be. For her, it seemed as though nothing had happened and nothing had changed...for her, whether or not time had passed didn’t seem to matter. Looking at her made him wonder, looking at her made him afraid to ask himself a question that continued to linger in the back of his mind and in the deepest parts of his soul ‘ did she ever truly love me?’ Fearing the answer, he tried to erase that question from his mind, he tried to forget that he ever wondered such a silly thing because he felt her love, he felt her warm presence lightening up his day and he knew she felt his love for her as well.

~
During that month’s time it seemed as though Leila and Bosco’s relationship had gotten stronger...and she felt that he was the right person for her to be with at the moment. He was always full of surprises making her feel as though she was falling in love with him each time they were together, a feeling of being in love that she did not experience before. He was there for her and knew exactly what she wanted...and she liked that.

Walking hand-in-hand on campus seemed to become a ritual for the two of them before Bosco would walk Leila home.

Bosco: Are you tired of walking around campus with me?

Leila smiled: Not really...it’s kind of nice...

Bosco: Aren’t you getting bored of this little ‘ritual’ of ours?

Leila looked at him: Nope...just because I know at the end of this little walk...you’ll do something special and different to make me happy...

Bosco laughed: How can you be so sure that I would prepare something like that?

Leila looked at him: Because I see it in your eyes...

Bosco: In my eyes? (He closed his eyes) How about now? How would you know?

Leila laughed: Well...I already saw it in your eyes, before you closed them...so...

Bosco took her hand and placed it on his heart: Next time, if you want to know...just place your hand right here...and you can feel it...but for today...I really haven’t prepared anything special, so I guess my eyes lied

Leila shook her head: They didn’t...

Bosco: But I didn’t prepare anything

Leila: You did...and I loved it (she placed her hand on his heart)

Bosco smiled and wrapped his arms around her: I love you...

~

By the time Leila had gotten home the warm fuzzy feeling that had overwhelmed her while she was with Bosco was slowly fading. She was in love with him, or at least at the moment. He knew exactly what to do to please her, to make her happy. There wasn’t a moment when she felt as though being with him was ‘boring’ but was that really enough?

~

He was now sitting in the library, browsing the web aimlessly looking at album arts from his favourite bands and whatnot. He only wanted to kill time, and keep his mind off of the pain that he was enduring because he lost her. She gave him the world, and seemed to have taken it all away too quickly...yet he still loved her, and wanted to be with her.

He felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to look thinking that it was Linda he was about to greet her when he realized it wasn’t.

Ron: Hi

Tavia: Hey...you don’t seem too happy to see me

Ron: Sorry, I thought you were a friend of mine

Tavia: So...we’re not even friends then?

Ron: Oh, I didn’t mean that...I meant...

Tavia smiled: It’s ok, we’ve only met a few times...I understand

Ron: Oh, ok...I think

Tavia: I was just going to ask you whether or not you started studying for the final

Ron: Um, not exactly...I’ve been (He looked at his computer screen) a bit distracted lately

Tavia: Got into a fight with your girlfriend?

Ron: What?

Tavia: You lost some money in a bet? Though you don’t look like the gambling type...

Ron: What? No...

Tavia: Hmm...well you seem a more troubled than distracted, so I only assumed either it was something to do with women or money...those usually are the two things that trouble men the most...oh and there’s sports as well...but I don’t think there’s anything going on right now.

Ron: Oh...did you want to ask me something about that class?

Tavia: Well, you haven’t exactly started studying so...maybe I’ll ask you the next time I see you around then. Bye

Ron: Ok, bye.

Ron didn’t quite understand her, or her rambling...but at least she did help him kill some time. Looking back at his computer screen he realized the time and also a slight reflection of someone he knew. He turned around to look and met her gaze. She walked towards him with a smile on her face

Linda: You’re moving on?

Ron: What makes you say that?

Linda: The girl you were talking to...

Ron: She’s a classmate...

Linda: Well...is that all?

Ron: Huh?

Linda: Never mind...shouldn’t you be studying for finals? (pointing to the computer screen)

Ron: Oh...ya...I’ll do that soon...I’m just distracted

Linda: Well, maybe you should move yourself away from such distractions?

Ron nodded: I could...

Linda: Maybe you should

Ron looked at her: You’re acting like my Superego

Linda laughed: At least you know what a Superego is

============================

There we go...yay for an update! I know it's probably not the best, or even close...but I hope that the next few chapters will make up for it. I sort of have something in mind at the moment...but I guess I'll see. Anyways, remember to comment...the more the merrier.

That's all folks, thanks for reading!

The Stalker: Ch 9

Who and Why

I’m so sorry for not updating this fanfic...and leaving it ‘hanging’ when I haven’t even revealed enough information about it...I hope everyone sticks around for this fanfic because it’s quite a story...well at least it is in my head lol

Recap:

So, in the previous chapter Ron had started working at Eclipse Enterprise as the manager for the marketing department. He then took a walk around the area to make observations with the intention of finding out more about his target. When he got to the flower shop, there was only Macy there and the two began having a nice little conversation, only to find out that his target his a ‘mysterious boyfriend’ who calls a few times a week. Just when Ron wanted to ask more about this ‘mystery’ man, Tavia (his target) comes back and the two of them exchange a few words before Ron leaves her standing there speechless...

Ron came home from his first day of work, ready to just lounge on the couch watching a TVB series or something with his ‘dad’ and hearing him complain about how horrible the quality the series has become. But to his surprise when he got home he found his ‘dad’ on the computer

Wong Ching: Why? Why are they doing this? This is ridiculous!

Michelle: What’s ridiculous?

Wong Ching: Take a look for yourself

Michelle: The poor boy is being paired up with another ‘new’ actress again...why are they doing this to him? And he’s not even a main lead in this new series...that is ridiculous

Wong Ching: Cheuk-hei deserves better...I thought he’d be actually paired up with Yeung Yi...look how compatible they are in that interview

Michelle: I really liked them in The Academy, but I think this time Cheuk-hei should be paired up with Ka-Yan, look at their outfits, they actually match...and it’s not the first time either

Wong Ching: They would make quite a good looking couple...but still Cheuk-hei and Yeung Yi...

Michelle: I don’t know...the more I look at the pictures the more I prefer him to be with Ka-Yan

Ron cleared his throat: Mom, dad, I’m home

Wong Ching: Yes, someone to break the tie...who do you think looks better with Cheuk-hei? Yeung Yi or Ka-Yan?

Ron: Well...Yeung Yi and him did collaborate before and...

Wong Ching: You have a good eye my boy

Michelle: So you think that Cheuk-hei looks better with Yeung Yi then?

Ron: I didn’t say that...I was just...

Wong Ching: So you prefer Ka-Yan over Yeung Yi?

Ron: you know what, I think I should take a shower first...for some reason you’re making it seem like I’m choosing my future wife or something

Wong Ching: hey, let’s pretend that YOU ARE choosing your future wife...now between Yeung Yi and Ka Yan, who would you pick?

Ron laughed: I think you’re taking this a bit too seriously?

Michelle: Just pick one...

Ron noticed that his phone was vibrating in his pocket and looked at the caller id

Ron: You know what, I pick Leila Tong...or at least I’m going to pick up her call before she thinks something’s not going according to plan

He walked into his room to answer her call

~ On the phone~

Ron: Hi, you just saved my life

Leila: Stuck in an argument between your new parents?

Ron: Ya...if this is how old married couples are, I don’t think I’ll ever get married...they were arguing about who looks better with some TVB dude named Cheuk-hei

Leila: Sounds like them, alright.

Ron: So? What’s this call all about?

Leila: Just checking on you, see how you did on your first day of work...

Ron: Shouldn’t you call Linda instead, isn’t it obvious that I would make it sound as though the day went extremely well and that you shouldn’t worry about a thing. But Linda, she would tell you the truth whether or not it did go well...so...

Leila: I already called her...so, I just want to see if your stories match...even though I specifically seeked you out for this mission...

Ron: Doesn’t mean you trust me 100% right?

Leila: Exactly

Ron: Ok...let’s see, it went pretty well...I got some looks of admiration from the female employees, some uncomfortable looks from the male employees...I had an interesting little conversation with Linda, took a walk on the street, met our target and left her standing at her flower shop speechless...that’s about it

Leila: You met our target today? Was she doing anything suspicious? Did you find out anything else about her?

Ron: Well, she’s extremely paranoid around me...she thinks I’m stalking her...which I guess is technically correct. But, what I found that was particularly interesting from her employee at the flower shop is that she has a mysterious boyfriend. Apparently he calls a couple of times a week...maybe you should look into that...you know, check who it is...maybe this ‘mystery man’ is another piece to our unsolved puzzle.

Leila: Alright, I’ll look into that...anyways, rest up...you’ve still got a long way to go with this mission. We’ll keep in touch...and maybe you should make our target less paranoid of you...maybe...take Nancy to the flower shop...you know...

Ron: For show...

Leila: Yup, for show

Ron: Ok...bye

Leila: Bye...wait...Ron

Ron: Ya?

Leila: Don’t get too attached, ok?

Ron: I’ll try my best...I don’t want history to repeat itself again...

Leila: Well, take care. Bye

~ end~

Before he could say another word, she had already hung up. She was always like that, always wanted to have the last word, whether it was during a normal conversation or an argument...that was the Leila Tong that he knew back in the day when they were still in training. No, it was even before that...too long ago.

Lounging back on his chair he thought about the things that he saw at the company today, and what Macy told him about the ‘mystery man’ who was apparently the boyfriend of his target...and in the pit of stomach Ron felt as though this ‘mystery man’ was involved with this case. Who could he be?

The other thing on his mind was the person who told Linda about her new ‘stepmother’ and about her past marriages...His thought then turned into pity...he felt her sorrow when he was having that conversation with her in her office, and he also saw a glimpse of hope from her...as though she was secretly wishing that her ‘stepmother’ wasn’t the type of person that the evidence seems to point to. He had to admit, Linda was a bit too naive and innocent to be involved in something so complex. From having her employees see her as a target to advance in their careers, to members of the board of directors viewing her as an incompetent replacement and to all of this. She deserved better...and so he too started to secretly hope that her ‘stepmother,’ his target...Tavia Yeung was in fact innocent...or innocently got involved in such a complex matter.

=================

I sincerely hope that you guys enjoyed this new update for my fanfic The Stalker. I seriously hope that you found the beginning a bit entertaining and ironic. Hopefully you all realize that the series that Michelle and Wong Ching were discussing was Yes Sir, No Sir. I'm really excited about this fanfic and where I'm planning to go with it, the plot...the characters and all of that. Funny enough the 'villain' of the story hasn't even been introduced yet...and well...I look forward to making his introduction one that will be quite interesting.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the read. Please comment, either here or in the cbox...and once again 5 or more comments before an update.

So...comment, comment and comment!!!

A Truthful Lie: Ch 21

The Proposal:

This is probably the update that a lot of people have been waiting for...

So, sit back, relax and have a nice read.

To recap what had happened previously...

Ron had drove Leila and Jacky home, tucked him into bed and left Leila with a goodnight kiss. He then saw Myolie’s text message and drove to pick her up at the hospital.

Myolie got onto his car as he drove her home

Ron looked at her: You can say it...

Myolie: Say what?

Ron: You know exactly what I’m talking about

Myolie laughed: Oh...Told you so

Ron: Little cupid trying to pull some strings...

Myolie: And?

Ron: And what?

Myolie: Did you like your role today, as a father and husband?

Ron: surprisingly...I did...

Myolie: And?

Ron: I think I’d like to have kids in a few years...be a good role model...set a good example...

Myolie: Sounds like you’ve been influenced...

Ron: Maybe I had too much fun...

Myolie: Better than flirting with girls?

Ron: Maybe...

Myolie looked at him: I think you’ll make a pretty good father some day...

Ron: I sure hope so...at least I want my kids to not resent me the way I resent my own father.

Myolie: Hey, don’t say things like that...your father secretly cares for you...

Ron: My father, he probably cares about his other mistresses more...after marrying auntie Louisa the tabloids still caught him at night clubs with a couple of girls in their twenties trying to make it big someday

Myolie laughed: The tabloids caught you with a few young girls too...

Ron: You sound like my brother...so what if I was caught having a couple of random flings...the point is I’m still single and so you can almost say that I’m in the mood for experiencing different things. However, if I were to be married I would whole-heartedly be a loving husband and I’ll even try my best to not even look at some hot girl in her early twenties

Myolie laughed: Really?

Ron: Ya...after seeing how depressed my mom became because of my dad I don’t want to see another woman that I love so dearly have to go through something like that again...

Myolie: Then what happened five years ago?

Ron sighed: I was young and foolish and didn’t understand the true meaning of what a family meant...and how that warmth can really overcome any infatuations and misplaced desires...something I learned today

Ron drove his car into the lot of the condominium and the both of them went up to Myolie’s place.

Ron remembered this place pretty well...he spent a couple of nights here once when Myolie wasn’t in town and he used to spend those nights alone. It was at a point where he had a lot on his mind and nowhere to go, and no one to spill all his feelings to. Her place gave him some comfort, a piece of mind...and now that she were back, everything felt so right.

Myolie: You still have a set of spare keys to my place, right?

Ron nodded: I used to come here once in a while...when you weren’t around, hope you didn’t mind

Myolie: As long as you didn’t do some nasty things in my bedroom with some random girl on the streets, I’m fine with it

Ron smiled: Well then, you’d be happy to find out I just used her place as a little sanctuary for me to think things through

Myolie closing the door behind her: Really?

Ron: Ya...it’s just cause I’m so used to telling things to you that when you weren’t around...I guess in a way I needed something to remind me of you to help me think clearly...

Myolie laughed: Wow, so I mean THAT much to the ever so eligible bachelor, Ron Ng?

Ron chuckled: Surprisingly, you do.

Myolie: To be honest, I’m a bit flattered

Ron: This might sound really silly, but I’ve been doing some thinking while I was driving to the hospital to pick you up...and, well...will you be my back-up wife?

Myolie: Back-up wife?

Ron: You know, if by the time you turn 38 and you haven’t found your Mr. Right, and I’m still single...we get married

Myolie: 38? Don’t people usually go for around 40?

Ron: I thought a bit about that too and well, they say that after a woman turns 38 the chances of them being pregnant to a baby with a likely hood for genetic mutations increases...so...

Myolie laughed: You seem to have really thought these things through...and again, I’m flattered but...is that really necessary?

Ron: I...I’m not sure. I just think that I’ve been with a lot of different women and I’ve been in love with Tavia for a pretty long time too...but in all honesty, I feel most comfortable with you...

Myolie: Ron...

Ron: Maybe it’s getting late and I’m exhausted because I’ve been up the entire day and roaming around Disneyland with a little kid on my shoulders for quite a bit of the day and so I’m saying a lot of things that might not exactly make the most sense. But, what I’m trying to say is...

Myolie: You don’t have to say anything, it’s ok. You have a lot on your mind and a lot to think about...plus you’re tired...how about we just eat and then talk about it in the morning?

Ron nodded in agreement. They went over to the dining table and ate away in silence. Myolie was right, they should talk about it in the morning...

Myolie: I think you have a little too much on your mind, maybe you should stay over tonight. You can take the guest room...I think you left some clothes here the last time you stayed at my place...while I wasn’t home

Ron looked away from his bowl of noodles and looked at her: Ya, I kind of forgot about them...but I think I washed them already or I should have

Myolie: You did, so it doesn’t smell like a dump in my guest room

Ron: That’s a relief...I guess I’ll stay the night then. Are you off tomorrow?

Myolie nodded

~ In the morning~

By the time Myolie woke up it was already 11, she went to wash up a bit before going into the kitchen to make herself some coffee. Passing by the guest room it occurred to her that Ron had stayed the night and was still fast asleep.

The aroma of the roasting coffee beans had woken up the exhausted Ron as he came out of the room and headed to the bathroom to wash up, himself. Heading towards the kitchen now, he noticed Myolie standing there with a cup of coffee in her hand as she slowly breathe in its aroma.

Ron: Good morning

Myolie: Morning, coffee?

Ron: Of course

She poured him a cup and watched as he added in the cream and sugar

Myolie: Aren’t you afraid of diabetes and high cholesterol?

Ron: Not really, a doctor’s standing right next to me...I think I’m in good hands

Myolie smiled: That’s true...you are in good hands

Ron: So, any plans for today? Maybe a date with Mr. Chan?

Myolie: No date with Mr. Chan...but...I think I’m supposed to meet up with my dad for lunch today, you could join us if you want

Ron: I don’t want to interfere with the father-daughter lunch date now, do I?

Myolie: I don’t think he would mind, actually he’d probably be ecstatic and have some ideas of his own why I decided to invite you along

Ron laughed: Of course, the matchmaking...and to think I almost forgot that we supposedly were meant to be...which reminds me of the blabbering I did last night...sorry about that, though the proposal was actually legitimate

Myolie: Well, I can’t just easily accept any proposal you know. After all I’m the only child of the Wu family

Ron chuckled: I’ll keep that in mind, and I’ll propose again another time...properly

======================

How did everyone like the Ronolie update...surprised that it WOULD be a Ronolie update to begin with? Anyways, I've been looking forward to writing more Ronolie stuff...just because I think their friendship hasn't been explored enough in this fanfic and it's totally worth mentioning. A lot of you were probably disappointed that there was no TaRo and RL, but don't worry...there will be lots of that coming soon as well (especially from my newest fanfic lol)

Anyways, from now on I will post all updates on my blog instead of going to winglin and struggle to log in and etc. This means that I'm looking forward to reading all your comments from here...so please leave a comment here or on the cbox...and I do expect at least 5 comments or so before another update.

That's all for now...
